Bettakultcha IX
Bettakultcha is on the road again! This time we've got a great venue with a great history, in some ways its back to our roots. Bettakultcha IX will be held at Stylus Nightclub in the Leeds University Union on June 7th.
We were totally blown away by this amazing venue which has three balconies, two bars, a large dance floor and a stage. Hey there's even a huge glitter ball!
It makes a great summer venue for Bettakultcha and we're really proud and excited to have the venue.
The format, ticket price are still the same (though we may tinker with the random challenge). And importantly for us we're still totally independent.
Format is same as before
- 20 slides
- 15 seconds each
- 5 mins to present your passion
- NO PITCHES
BTW, we're going to be really strict on pitches. Anyone considered
pitching by Myself or Ivor will be stopped while they present!
There is a bar
One change is that we can't do bring your own bottle, sorry. Great news though is that as it's the Student's Union the booze will be student prices!
Food
The Union has loads of food outlets, so you'll be spoilt for choice!
Getting there
The University has ample free parking after 6pm around the campus, there's plenty of buses and it's close enough to town that you could even walk if you're feeling energetic!
